Service area and appointment acceptance
Upright Appliance Repair LLC reviews each service request before confirming an appointment. We may decline a request if the location is beyond our practical travel area or cannot be accommodated within our available service routes.
Published service-area lists and diagnostic fees describe our services; they do not guarantee availability at every address or require us to accept every request. Contacting us, preparing a request, or asking for an estimate does not create a confirmed appointment.
For accepted appointments, the trip and diagnostic fee is $65 for residences within 10 miles of Wood Dale, IL 60191, and $99.00 for addresses outside that 10-mile area. We confirm the address, distance eligibility, and applicable fee before accepting the appointment. Parts and repair labor are quoted separately.
This policy applies to acceptance of new requests. It does not cancel or override an existing confirmed agreement, impose a fee for a declined request, or limit rights protected by applicable law. Service-area criteria are applied consistently and in accordance with applicable law.
Website information and scheduling
This website provides general information about Upright Appliance Repair LLC and its household appliance services. A call, text, or email is an inquiry rather than a confirmed appointment. Confirm the service location, visit timing, applicable fees, and scope directly with Upright.
Diagnosis, estimates, and authorization
Remote discussions are preliminary. Diagnosis may be needed to confirm the fault, required parts, and repair price. Review the proposed work and charges before authorizing service. The written estimate, work order, or invoice for your job should identify the agreed scope and applicable conditions.
Appliance access and existing damage
Tell us about built-in installations, tight spaces, stairs, fragile flooring, or other access concerns before service. Existing damage and any proposed appliance movement should be documented and discussed before work begins. This website is not a customer damage waiver, and visiting it does not waive your rights.
Parts, timing, and warranty
Parts availability and diagnosis can affect completion time. A first-visit repair is not guaranteed. Ask for repair warranty duration, coverage, exclusions, and claim instructions in writing. Confirm special-order parts, cancellation, payment, and return conditions before authorization.
Offers and customer rights
The local diagnostic offer is subject to address eligibility and confirmation at scheduling. Nothing in this website is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be waived or replace a job-specific agreement. If a statement on the website differs from your written job agreement, ask Upright to clarify before proceeding.
